J.F. "Jack" Howell, III, Editor
Jack is a shareholder in Sprouse Shrader Smith, PC. He has been practicing for 25 years in the areas of Tax Law and of Business Organizations, Structures, and Transactions. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and has been board certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specilalization for 20 years. He is the Vice Chair – Publications for the Partnerships and Real Estate Tax Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
Jack attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a J.D., with Honors, in 1982, and a B.A., with High Honors, in 1979. While an undergraduate, he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
